Continuous Professional Development
Throughout my career I have continued to nurture my love of learning and with it, some invaluable skills and experiences. I've not only been given the opportunity through businesses I have worked for as an employee, but enjoyed taking part in client training so as to fully immerse myself in their industry. In addition to those learning opportunities presented professionally, I have sought out other areas of education and development in my own time.
2024-2025
MONASH UNIVERSITY
MASTERS OF COUNSELLING
Driven by a profound commitment to personal and professional growth, I am pursuing a Master's in Counselling alongside my extensive 20+ year career in marketing. This deliberate choice reflects my dedication to becoming a more empathetic and insightful practitioner, enriching my marketing expertise with a deeper understanding of human behaviour. Integrating these disciplines empowers me to offer holistic and nuanced solutions, enhancing my effectiveness in both fields
2001-2003
MONASH UNIVERSITY
BACHELOR OF ARTS - PSYCHOLOGY + MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Maintaining a distinction to high distinction average, I completed my Arts degree with a double major. I was invited to complete an Honours year but deferred to start my career.
1995-1996
CAULFIELD GRAMMAR SCHOOL
VICTORIAN CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION
During my two years at Caulfield Grammar I was nominated and voted in as the first female House Captain in the school's history (both year 11 and 12). I also received academic, public speaking and community service colours and was part of the first female AFL football team and played softball to an APS premiership.
1987-1994
FIRBANK GRAMMAR SCHOOL
I attended Firbank from grade three to year 10 where I held leadership positions each year, was part of the academic extension program and participated in a number of extra curricular activities both competitively and pursuing my love of the Arts.

2012-PRESENT
SIDEKICK COMMUNICATIONS
DIRECTOR
I established Sidekick to change the way SMEs marketed to and communicated with their audiences to inspire action and change. I've had the pleasure of working with some incredible people on some amazing projects and have relished the opportunity to grow professionally as part of my client's teams, while building one of my own that I'm extremely proud of.
2011-2012
PUBLIC RELATIONS INSTITUTE OF AUSTRALIA
HEAD OF MARKETING AND MEMBER ENGAGEMENT
During my time with the PRIA I worked across three progressive roles, being promoted quickly throughout my tenure from a State based events focused role, to heading up the marketing and membership functions and stepping up to be 2IC.
2011-2011 (CONTRACT)
TELSTRA
CENTRAL SERVICES CONSULTANT
Returning from maternity leave I accepted the opportunity to work with Telstra in their central services department. Initially engaged in a purely support based role, I soon expanded the scope of the role, implementing internal communications programs to cover every day team engagement, and special projects. I was offered a Team Leader position managing 12 staff and the operational aspects of one of the divisions. I declined the opportunity to continue building my career in Marketing Communications.
